We are there, in comedy hell. Ice Cube melts as a cute chump, a sports freak who wants to woo dishy Nia Long but must endure her obnoxious kids on a motor trip from Portland to Vancouver. If he murdered the hammy, overly coached, abrasive dearies, we'd applaud (but still want our money back). The dashboard figure of Leroy "Satchel" Paige, blaring inane zingers and making animated faces, is inexcusable even at the level of this show-biz cellar mold.
