Public Library, 1922

We ran this one a long time ago, and the info we had said January 24, 1922.

That's what it said, but… well, look at the reflection of the tree in the window. There are leaves on it. And the ladies pictured — Corinne Metz and Adele Warner — aren't wearing coats. What we're saying is, it certainly doesn't look like January.

Besides that, the info we have says this was taken outside the Allen County and Fort Wayne Public Library, and Ms Metz and Ms Warner were library staff. We don’t know if they were the only members of the staff at the time. Anyway, in the right lower corner you can see an ad for “Open Book Chewing Tobacco.”
