Broadway and Taylor, 1912

Just down the street from last issue’s Old School Pic (General Electric bus transfers), is the historic intersection of Broadway and Taylor. Today, the building in the center of the photo is Mad Anthony Brewing. In 1912, the building on the corner housed the Meyer Drug Store. This was long before a paint store was in this location; of which the remnant paint can structure can still be seen on the facade of Mad Anthony’s posing as a barrel.
