In the spirit of the Ash Center's "big dig" at Harrison and Wayne, we reached back into the archives. 45 years ago, there was a different massive crater in the middle of downtown Fort Wayne. This one wasn't an office building — it would become the City-County Building (now the Rousseau Center). And the steel girders in the background became the Fort Wayne National Bank building (completed in 1971). |
