Bowser, Inc., a world-famous manufacturer of fuel pumps, (based at 1302 E. Creighton, our former Police station) was making “fire bombs” for the military. Nose cones, tail sections and rolled aluminum bodies had to be manufactured to precise specifications—to later be assembled and filled in the field with napalm (jellied gasoline).
