Looking north along Fort Wayne’s bustling business district, this pic of Calhoun Street indicates a small portion of the large volume of retail trade common in Fort Wayne’s downtown before the exodus to suburban shopping centers.

Note Murphy’s in the distance— now a Wells Fargo Bank. Somehow, Wells Fargo donuts are not as good as Murphy’s.
