We ran this one before, a little over 5 years ago, but we thought it had a summer feeling to it, so we brought it back. This is from the American Bicentennial back in 1976 during City Spirit week. When we first ran the photo, we had no idea who the harpists performing in Friemann Square were, but Nancy Morse of Payne, Ohio — the one in the middle — filled us in. From left to right: Lynne Barton; Sarah Wall; Nancy Morse; Amy Hamilton; and Elizabeth Ann Morse-Hambrock (Morse’s daughter). The photo is by Gabe Delobbe, and Morse tells us Delobbe snapped the shot right as she was giving directions.
