The year? We don’t know. We’re not even sure which direction we’re facing (North, maybe?). The only information we have is that you’re looking at the 600 – 800 blocks of South Clinton Street. One clue, though — the Meyers for Mayor sign. Robert Meyers was Mayor of FortWayne from 1954 to 1959. According to wikipedia, he was voted into office in a special election after the serving mayor, Harry Baals (perhaps you’ve heard of him?) died in office. But Meyers only served one term, and didn’t run for reelection. So, perhaps this photo was from 1954 or ‘55.
