We don’t know the name of the gentlemen with his hand on the switch in this photo, but he’s helping demonstrate how to turn on a fire alarm using the fire alarm box. It was part of the Fire Prevention Display on the Court House Square during one the regular “Fire Prevention Week” programs. We don’t know the exact date, but the photo was published in a Fire Prevention Book made in 1951.
