We actually have dates and names for this one. According to the info we have, this picture was taken outside the Allen County and Fort Wayne Public Library on January 24, 1922, and the women are library staff members Corinne Metz and Adele Warner. The info we have just says “staff,” so we don’t know if they were the only members of the staff at the time. Anyway, in the right lower corner you can see an ad for “Open Book Chewing Tobacco.”
