Courtesy of some friends of ours at Don Hall’s Old Gas House on the corner of Superior and Spy Run, here’s a picture of the old property, pre-restaurant, when it was up for sale. We don’t know what the exact year is for this picture, but since the restaurant opened in 1957, we’re assuming mid-50s. Until then, it had belonged to the Indiana Lighting Company. The sharp-eyed among you might notice that Spy Run looks a lot closer to the property than it is now, and you’d be right. At some point, Spy Run was moved a little further East.
