Last issue we showed you a picture of the old Fort Wayne Baseball Park semi-submerged in a flood. We stumbled over another, better, picture of it, high and dry. We don’t know what year this was, but we do know it was a postcard. Just to re-cap what Chad Gramling (he maintains the blog Baseball in Fort Wayne [baseballinfortwayne.com] and wrote the book Baseball in Fort Wayne) told us about the Fort Wayne Baseball Park in FWR #147, the park was located between Calhoun & Clinton Streets a couple of blocks north of Superior. The outfield fence ran close to the St. Mary's River and then around and along Clinton Street (right field).
