The sequel to the "The Bourne Identity" returns most of the cast including Matt Damon as the superagent Jason Bourne, a CIA assassin suffering from amnesia. The conceit, created by novelist Robert Ludlum, is a clever one - as Bourne careens through Europe, he's constantly finding himself employing spectacular talents he didn't know he had: handling cars like a Formula One driver, pulverizing opponents like Bruce Lee, hacking computers like Kevin Mitnick. In the sequel, Bourne is suddenly the target of an assassin (Karl Urban); seems he's been framed for a murder in Berlin, one that gummed up a Black Ops project.

A Universal Pictures release. Director: Paul Greengrass. Writer: Tony Gilroy. Cinematographer: Oliver Wood. Composer: John Powell. Cast: Matt Damon, Franka Potente, Brian Cox, Joan Allen and Karl Urban. Running time: 1 hr., 48 min. Rated PG-13.
