An accident at the corner of Broadway and Wayne, where a fire truck from No. 5 Engine House — responding to what later proved to be a false alarm — struck a sedan, and then crashed over the curb and into a large pole. The injured were all taken to St. Joseph's Hospital a block away. House is on the northeast corner — 821 Broadway, 624 Wayne. The photo originally appeared in the Journal Gazette on 1/1/1931.
