Barr Street Market being torn down. The pavilion, originally built in 1910, was demolished in 1957/58 when attendance at the market declined. During its heyday, the pavilion stretched between Washington and Wayne streets. You can see Siegel's Health Foods and Kosher Delicatessen in background. |
