In honor of March Madness, this issue’s “Old School Pic” shows crowds nabbing some lunch at Sandy’s Sodas and Sandwiches in between games during the North Side Sectional Basketball tournament, 1945. The actual date was February 24, so it wasn’t really March, but Indiana’s well-documented enthusiasm for basketball hardly confines itself to just one month.
